  3. Unlike the other news readers you might be familiar with, the ultimate
  4. goal of nn is "not to read news"; actually, "nn" is an acronym for "No
  5. News", and the motto of nn is:

  7.     No news is good news, but nn is better.

  11. The parts of the NN-TK window
  12.     The group list is in the bottom left corner and can be used for selecting
  13.     groups, subscribing and unsubscribing to groups and changing the group 
  14.     order
  15.  
  16.     The group menu which shows the articles in the group is in the top
  17.     right and this is used for selecting the articles to read
  18.  
  19.     The thread display which shows the relationship of articles in a thread
  20.     is in the top left and this can also be used for selecting and unselecting
  21.     articles

  23.     The article display which shows an actual article is in the bottom
  24.     right

  27. The help buttons on the top right and the middle left provide more information
  28. on using NN-TK, for more detailed information on use and configuration see
  29. the menu items under Info
  30.  
  31. For information on speeding up NN when using NNTP see the NN help item on NNTP.

  33. Hint: To reduce the  number of groups to a manageable level, bring up the
  34. Modify Group List panel, select all the groups, unselect those groups you
  35. want to keep  and then press unSubscribe.
